WINTER WONDERLAND

My blog has been in a silent treatment for a while and ouh yes I do have a great reason why. During the summer I moved to Finland and then my school also started. I am nowdays studying animal care in Paimio and I live in Turku.

So my life has been busy for a while trying to organize and get everything done as my family still lives in Brussels so I´ve been doing things alone.

I´ve had good and bad days, but I´ll survive them all.

WELCOME BACK!

Blogi on viettänyt viimeiset viikot hiljaiseloa, mutta tosi hyvästä syystä.
Muutin nyt muutama viikko sitten Suomeen, eikä ole ollut läppäriä mukana.
Vietettiin kaksi viikkoa mökillä, sekä tapasin mahtavia ihmisiä ja vanhoja tuttuja.
Tämä viikko on myös ollut aika kiireistä, sillä aloitan opiskelut 15.8 maanantaina.

My blog has been in a silence streak for a while, as couple weeks ago I moved to Finland and did not take my laptop with me. (Got a new one). 
We spend around two weeks in our summer cottage and I met some amazing new people and also some old friends of mine. 
This week has been quite busy as I start my studies the 15.8. 

MY WEEKEND

Hei taas!

Mites teidän viikonloppu meni? Itselläni yllättävän vikkelästi. Lauantaina olin taas katsomassa kaverini koiran perään ja sunnuntain vietin kotona. 

Käytiin veljeni kanssa 5minutin kävely matkan päässä olevassa puistossa nimeltään Parc du Cinquantenaire ja pelailtiin sulkapalloa. 

Sunnuntai iltapäivä on mennyt pakkailessa matkalaukkuani muuttoani varten Suomeen.

Hello again!

How was your weekend? My weekend went quickly. Saturday I was looking after my friend´s dog and Sunday I spent inside mostly. 

We went with my brother to a park which is in a walking distance called Parc du Cinquantenaire and we played badminton. 

Sunday evening mostly went packing my stuff for Finland as in 1 week or so I am moving there. 

Oh darling those puppy eyes <3 

BABYSITTING

Huomenta vaan kaikille. Viikonloppuni meni aika rennosti, sillä hoidin kaverini koiraa Oskaria. Kaverini on jossain leirillä Saksassa, jonka takia hänen vanhemmat palkkasivat sitten minut katsomaan koiran perään.
Koiran kanssa sitten tapahtui vähän kaikkee, sillä käveltiin Woluwe puistoon, jossa Oskar juoksi suoraan mutaan.
Ainakin koiralla oli hauskaa, kunnes päätin että oli aika lähteä kotiin, sillä ruoka odotti. Oskar ei sitten ollut kanssani mitenkään samaa mieltä ja alkoi protestoimaan makaamalla keskellä polkua.

Kesävinkki koiranomistajille: Kesäisin koirille voi antaa virikkeeksi jääpaloja. Itse laitoin vettä tavalliseen kulhoon ja kulhon laitoin pakkastimeen. N.4-5h (riippuu pakastimen tehosta) oli valmis. Jääkimpaleen saa kulhosta pois siten että laittaa sen kulhon ylösalaisin ja virtaa lämpimämpää vettä päälle. Sen jälkeen jääkimpale on valmis koiran nautittavaksi. Jääkimpale antaa viilennystä, sekä virikettä koiralle näin kesäisin.

Good morning to everybody. My weekend was mostly relaxing, as I was looking after my friend´s dog Oskar. My friend went to a camp, so her parents hired me to look after the dog during the weekend as they had plans. 
So much actually happened with the dog. We went to woluwepark, in which the dog ran to the mud. 
Atleast the dog had fun, until tried to go back home. Oskar did not like that idea and started to protest againt me by lying down in the middle of the path. 

Summertip for dog owners: During the summer you can give the dog ice cubes as stimulant to the dog. I used a normal bowl in which I poured water. Then did put the bowl to the freezer for 4-5h (this depends on the power of the freezer). You can get the huge ice cube away from the bowl, by putting the bowl upside down and pouring warm water into it. Then the ice cube is ready for the dog. Ice cube helps the dog in cooling and gives something to do for the dog. 

5 BAD AND 5 GOOD THINGS ABOUT ME

Ajattelin tehdä tänään jotain vähän erillaista verrattuna siihen mitä yleensä teen.
Pyysin yhtä hyvää ja läheistä kaveriani irjoittamaan 5 hyvää puoltani, sekä 5 huonoa puolta.
Olen tuntenyt kyseisen ihmisen aika pitkään, sillä olin heidän luokallaan ennen, kunnes tiemme erosi Moskovaan muuttoni jälkeen.
Takaisin tultuani Belgiaan ollaan oltu läheisimpiä kavereita, enkä tiedä mitä olisinkaan tehnyt ilman häntä.
Joten kiitos ihanista vuosista kanssasi sekä kaikista ihanista muistoista.

Today I decided to do something different compared to what I would usually do. 
I asked one of my good friends to write me 5 good things about me and 5 bad things about me. 
I´ve known her when I lived in Belgium as a kid, but our ways got separated as I moved away to Moscow. 
Since I´ve come back to Brussels, we´ve been more close than before and I don´t know what I would have done without her. 
Thank you darling for these amazing year and experiences I´ve had with you. 

5 GOOD THINGS ABOUT LATRI LOSKINEN:
(Latri Loskinen is a inside joke/nickname what my friend has created as it all began from Batri. One of my friends organized a birthday party for me. She didn´t have the letter "K" which led her to improvise by using the letter B and so the name Batri was created.)

-Very determined when she wants somethings, she gun get it.
- Very considerate and mom-ish, a ray of sunshine
-takes care of your siblings.
-sweet cinnamon roll, too pure for this world and to innocent.
Katri´s comment: haha, I wouldn´t really so say. 

-will surprise you by bying you something. (cool)

5 "BAD" THINGS ABOUT LATRI LOSKINEN:

-"So, let me tell you this super important thing, so..OMFG a dog!??!" *runs off like a crazy person*
-tiny knees
-can´t sometimes take a joke.
Katri´s comment: well it depends from the situation and the person. As it is really hard for people to take me seriously. 

-shit she bough me like 23 croissants. I owe her like 126e.
-Will ditch you to play football.

FRANCE, NICE & MONACO DAY 4

Launtai me vietettiin päivä Monakossa. Kyseinen matka ei ollut suunniteltu vaan spontaaninen jossa me vaan mentiin ostaa junaliput Nizzasta Monakoon eikä matka kestänyt pitkään.
Monakossa me käveltiin ympäriinsä. Käytiin ekaksi rannalla jonka jälkeen käveltiin pitkin katuja.
Hypättiin bussin kyytiin joka sitten vei meidät mm. prinssin palatsiin sekä eksoottiseen puutarhaan.
Nähtävyyksien jälkeen mentiin syömään pizzeriaan.

Pieni tarina: En tiedä oikein mistä aloittaa, mutta sanotaanko että kyseisen pizzerian omistaja oli tosi outo. Syötyämme pyydettiin laskua ja saatiin se. Laskussa oli siinäänsä virhe jossa hän oli laittanut että oltaisiin tilattu puolikas viinipullo, mitä me ei tilattu. Äiti tilas vaan lasillisen punaviiniä.
Huomautimme asiasta hänelle ja hän tietenkin korjasi sen MUTTA virheellisen laskun hinta oli n.68e ja yhtäkkiä se hinta nyt olikin 75e mikä ihmetytti meitä ihan hirveästi. Jouduttiin uudestaan huomauttamaan asiasta ja hän vaan känisi ja sanoi että se olisi muka oikein. Onneksi lopulta saatiin onneksi oikea hinta. Mies joka oli kassalla oli aika vanha ja tais olla sen yhtiökumppani tai joku.
Lähtiessämme se omistaja yritti vielä tinkiä sen yhtiökumppaninsa kanssa kuinka sen hinta olisi muka ollut väärä.

Vaikka olikin tälläinen outo kokemus niin Monako oli ihana ja lämmin paikka.

Saturday we were in Monaco. This trip was not really planned and it was mostly unexpected as we just decided to go to Monaco. We bought the train tickets and the trip there was not that long. It took about 20 minutes or so. 
We mostly walked around. At first we headed to the beach and then we just walked around the streets without a real destination. 
We took the bus which headed to the palace of the prince and also we went to see the exotic garden. 
After sightseeing we headed to a pizzeria. 

Story time: 
Not sure how to start this, but this person who I think owned the pizzeria was actually really weird. After we ate we asked for the bill and he gave it to us. There was this slight problem with the bill in which like he did put a prize of a half bottle of wine in it even though my mom only had one glass of it. We of course said something about it BUT that did not actually fix anything. The prize of the wrong bill was about 68e and suddenly it increased to 75e which was super weird. 
We again had to inform about that to him. He kept on nagging how the prize was correct even though it was not. There was another man working in the pizzeria who was much more older than him, but worked in the register/cash register and he later gave us the right prize which was around 50e. Before we left the other owner started to argue with him how it was the right prize even thought it was not. 

Even though we had this weird experience in Monaco I still had such a great time there. 

FRANCE, NIZZA/NICE DAY 3

Saavuttiin siis Nizzaan tosi myöhään torstaina ja onneksi hotellimme oli taas juna-aseman vieressä.
Perjantaina käytiin vaan kävelemässä ympäri Nizzaa. Käytiin rannalla, vanhassa kaupungissa ja pienillä kujilla sekä käytiin syömässä yhdessä ihanassa ravintolassa jota suosittelen kaikille.
Ravintolan nimi oli LE GIOFFREDO. Itse söin siellä kana clubin sekä join ihanaa kaakaota.

We arrived to Nice really late on thursday, but luckily our hotel was again near the train station.
Friday was mostly walking around Nice and just looking at the views. We walked to the beach, old city and just small alleys and we went to eat to this lovely restaurant called LE GIOFFREDO  and I really suggest people to go there. I ate a club sandwhich and got this lovely hot chocolate.
